CCW CERTIFICATION

CCW class covers all required legal topics in order to schedule your interview with your local CCW agency. Mostly class room, with a 1 hour lunch break, followed up by range time.

This class will cover all required legal topics required to obtain concealed carry weapon permit in the counties of Tulare, Fresno, Madera and Kings, the cities of Coalinga, Fresno, Madera and  and Chowchilla . Classes are limited to 15 students to allow us to provide focused training to ensure your success.

Online classes are available for Fresno and King counties, and the cities of Fresno and Chowchilla.

 

Firearms 101 is highly recommended for the first time gun owner who is on a path to obtain their CCW.

 

NON-CALIFORNIA RESIDENT CCW CERTIFICATION

$300 initial CCW class or $150 renewal CCW fee

  • Ensure you are qualified per below Information Bulletin (view list of compliant California firearms).
  • Complete online training (initial 16 hour online training ($60) or renewal 8 hour online training ($30)).
  • Complete a local shoot that is PC26165(A)(6) compliant of no less than 100 rounds per firearm. California Code, PEN 26165.
  • Upon completetion forward boh certificates and Firearm Make, Model, Serial number and Caliber information to CentralValleyCCW@gmail.com
  • Once certificates are reviewed you will receive an invoice for the remainder of the $300/$150 fee. (Initial CCW $240 / Renewal CCW $120)
  • CCW Certificate will be emailed within 4 days of invoice payment.

Starting April 22, 2025  California has been required by the court to make certain accommodations to it’s application and approval process for non-residents.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure they meet all DOJ criteria in regards to training, eligibility and firearms.

    CCW Renewal / CCW part 2

    8 hour SB2 compliant training required for CCW renewal. Covers Fresno County & Police Dept., Madera, Kings, Tulare and Coalinga Police Dept. 50 rounds per firearm.  A non refunable $50 deposit is required to hold your spot.  Remainder will be due in full on the day of class. Total cost is $150
